1. About EKO

EKO is a skills practice and verification service. EKO offers AI-generated practice interviews, hands-on skill tracks, assessments of submitted work, verifiable credentials, and candidate-screening tools for employers. EKO is operated by the EKO project team ("EKO", "we", "us"). By using EKO you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement, or have a parent or guardian's consent where permitted. You are responsible for ensuring your use of EKO is lawful where you live.

3. Educational nature - no guarantees

EKO provides educational content and skill assessments. AI-generated material may contain errors and is not professional advice. Credentials reflect demonstrated performance on EKO assessments only. They do not guarantee employment, income, or any outcome, and they are not accredited degrees. EKO Academy is a learning community, not an accredited institution.

4. Accounts and credentials

You sign in with an email link. You agree not to misrepresent your identity, cheat assessments, or obtain credentials you did not earn. We may revoke credentials obtained through fraud. Some proofs are anchored on public blockchains; those anchors contain only content fingerprints - never your personal data.

5. Employer features

Screening reports and verification pages describe performance on EKO assessments. Hiring decisions and their consequences belong to the employer. Employers may attest outcomes; attestations are recorded and publicly linked to the credential.

6. Payments

Paid offers (pilots, co-signs, live defenses, cohorts) are priced at purchase time and may be fulfilled or reviewed manually. If we cannot deliver a paid service, we refund it. Applicable taxes are your responsibility.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use EKO for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, to upload malicious content, to attempt to bypass or game assessments, or to disrupt the platform.

8. Intellectual property

Work you create on EKO remains yours. Content creators retain IP in their materials; their content is never used to train AI models. EKO's software, marks, and design are owned by EKO.

9. Disclaimers and liability

EKO is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EKO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
